New member Saying Hello. I've been working on this for about 4 months, thouht you all might enjoy seeing some pictures. T-500's are just beautiful bikes..
One of the best I've seen. I looked over all your pictures, studied each one, and after going over the other forums, found myself back looking at your pics again! I bet Johnakay did a doubletake too! I'd like to see your other bikes too; especially the X6. Are they all at this leval?? How about it ????? Danny Mac.
I love the 72 paint schemes. That green is what was on my 72 before I dumped it on an icy road back in 1980 and put the directional into that beautiful tank. This is her now. She is my next project.

Danny,
Thank you for the kind words. Just had major neck surgury last DEC so the 71 and 70 T500's took what seemed like forever to finish. I still need to tune and dial them in a bit. Restored several 50's -60's cars when I was younger, but these seemed like almost as much work. The X6 will be at the same level when completed in late summer. Currently I'm working on finishing up the 1970 T500 which is close to the same level as the 71 and one of my 1972 GT 750's. I hope to get both T500's out to the Classic Japanese Motorcycle Club Show this weekend, but having second thoughts about trailering them 300 miles in the rain. I busted my butt to try to get them both ready, that's how life is sometimes John made the grab bar .... Actually it was his bike that inspired me.

and here me thinking that the grab bar was genuine one
grand job you did better than mine but mine was better than all the others
oh and thanks for the compliment. I some time wish I still have it
anyway may have another on the way.
unfortunately my other old bike is not for sale.
Rick brett has bought 2 T/gt500 I don't know which from the states.
but I have to sell my burgman 1st.
If I wanted to make a life-long career out of
working with the mentally retarded I would
have opened a Harley Davidson Dealership
Yes....very sadly, a couple of sidecar guys lost their lives near the jump at Balla crye....just before Quarry bends.
These boys know the dangers of racing at the TT, and they still chose to compete, it's nonetheless tragic when the worst happens.
