She's seen the new arrival, I got the 'hands on hips' treatment and then she fetched me a coffee, so that went better than expected. Now all I have to do is make 3 out of nearly 4. Should keep me busy for a few weeks.......
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Mine isn't like that at all, much worse though. If I pi$$ her off, I have to make dinner!

The garage is now full. Here's proof.
K left, J centre, M (ish) right, K hung up in bits, V8 extreme right, plus lots of other bits. I covered the alarm, traps and machine guns up so 'billy burglar' will hopefully break his neck if he ever manages to open the door!!!
And that garage is bigger than 'normal' as it goes back 18" each side of the full size roller shutter. There's also a 'roof void' which has stuff in and shelves that are out of sight too!

Alan H I love the bikes and your garage looks great . Oh the chicken is fantastic

I see 3 turbos in that group along the wall. Are these belonging to one of you guys? I've been looking for a low mile Honda 650 Turbo.....

Thanks, Gordon

Ah...I see the missing items now...you have the Suzuki XN85 and the Kawasaki GPZ750E too. Very hard to get all of them together, I'm gealous! I was attending Barbers Vintage Festival back in 2009 and enjoyed their assortment of factory turbos. I left there knowing I had to find me a nice Red GPZ. The Honda CX650 is really the only other turbos I'd want to add to my garage. I've ridden the CX500 Honda, the Yamaha 650, and I'm told the Suzuki was/is the least impressive of them all. The CX500 that I rode was a treat, giving predictable performance down low and middle, then a nice zing up top. How do you like riding the CX650 as compared to the GPZ around town and back roads? I figure the GPZ will one day cost me a huge ticket....it's extremely hard to resist 2nd and 3rd gear roll-ons to redline which has by then exceeded every national speed limit and gone well into the triple digits of jail time, reckless driving, and potential vehicle seizure in just seconds. No other motorcycle I've ever owned or ridden is more Dr. Jekel/Mr. Hyde than this little 750, but you know exactly what I'm talking about. For those who haven't ridden one of these, it's not the fastest nor the meanest, but the transition from off-to-on boost is just incredible and so very addictive.

Here is my 1985 along with some others -

Regards, Gordon

OK Gordon you have some pampered ladies there  they are all beautiful mine not so much but they run very well  here is my impressions on these last place the Yamaha has the least of the turbo feel next the cx500 great bike nice fit and finish a little sluggish at slow speeds .#3 the XN85 this bike is the best handling good power but just never gives you that OH sh##t  moment it just goes faster and faster . Runner up the MIGHTY CX650 this is the roll on king and has a good amount of    and does it in a relaxed fashion. Very good riding position for old guys like me  OK I change my mind if I had to ride one every they it would the the 650  and you already know the GPZ.

What state are you in? I'd love to come ride the CX650 and Suzuki so I could say I'd ridden all of them. I'm in western South Carolina near the corner of NC and Georgia. Thanks for the feedback. We'll get back to Suzuki 2 strokes now....
