I know someone on here with a 750 drag bike had one. but If I remember correctly they had a GT500 front end thus they were able to buy the GT500 fork brace...
Here's my problem. I have a T500 that has a complete GT550 front end. I would like to fit a fork brace to it and I'm wondering if I'll be able to fit the GT500 fork brace from fast from the past on it. I don't want to change the triple tree to a GT500 only for a fork brace because i'm running the GT250 front wheel (18") which is the same hub as the 550. If the GT500 has a different distance between fork tubes than the GT550, I won't be able to run the same front wheel without adding some spacers....
heres the link to the brace:

Fast from the past fork brace: GT500 fit a GT550?

Slider,
Best thing to do is to call Jim at Fast from the Past and explain to him what you have. But beofre you do that, I have a Suzuki parts cross references so we can confirm all models that used your slider tubes. Then, you need to measure the c-c distance of your forks or at least confirm that what model your triple tree is from.
If we cant find a standard kit, Jim might be able to provide a special assembly that has the correct diameter clamps for your slider tubes and a brace plate from another kit that will give you the proper distance across. My cross reference info is on my computer at work so I can check tomorrow morning on the P/Ns for you.
I have a GS450 triple tree and GT250/380 forks. Both are 33mm and the steering stem is a match for the GT750.

Re: Fast from the past fork brace: GT500 fit a GT550?
SliderNH, do you know what year your GT550 front end is? If there is any doubt, you will want to measure the diameter of the machined fork top where the fork brace will attach.
Pretty sure your fork width is 175mm provided your triple clamp is GT550.
Also, here is the link to the discussion you referenced. If you read the thread and the previous page of the thread, you can sift some information from it regarding the GT550 but again, it will be important to verify the year of your front end.

The very best approach is to measure everything and contact Jim Hinshaw. He is great to work with.

Re: Fast from the past fork brace: GT500 fit a GT550?
My triple tree is from a 76 GT550. I took some measurements, but they just seem way off from a GT500. It makes me think that I might have measured wrong. The Top of the sliders measures 58 in Diameter. That one was easy. I'm having trouble getting a consistent measurement from ctr to ctr - plus I'm not positive where I need to take the measurements from. Is it the inside to inside of each slider? the middle of each slider? or the middle of the fork tubes? or the inside to inside of the fork tubes...I don't know.

From the Fast from the Past website:
NOTES: 1. All dimensions shown are in millimeters.
2. Center Distance is center to center between fork tubes.
3. Arched means the center of the fork brace is curved upwards for fender clearance.
4. Mounting Diameter is the diameter of the lower fork stanchion where the fork brace clamps.
If there are 2 numbers shown it means there is a step in the lower fork stanchion where the fork brace clamps.
You will need to slide the rubber dust up the fork tube out of the way to measure your forks.
The fork braces never clamp around the rubber dust boot
