T500 petcock for sale NOS - unused!

Post by Fritz500 »

Guys,

I purchased a NOS petcock for my T500K but have decided to leave the after-market one on.

I took it out of the box and plastic wrapping to take the photo - you can see it is still a virgin! It is now back in the wrapping and box.

I'm going to put it on FeeBay in a few days...

PM me if you're interested. Make me an offer (+$15 for shipping)

Cheers

I bought an after-market one from here: http://www.reproductiondecals.com/defau ... .html~main" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I chose item number : PM81-2305

They shipped it from Canada to Australia for $19US which is OK.

The tap does a good job but it is very stiff to operate. I have a bad case of arthritis in my hands so I find it a bit hard to turn on and off. The tap fitted without any issues.

Cheers

Pingel sells new vacuum-operated petcocks. They sell several models that attach to the T500 tank without any adapters.
The GT250 uses the same petcock -- I'm using Pingel petcock # 6391-CHV on mine. They are about $175 on Amazon.

NOS T500 petcocks are still available from US Suzuki but they are about $320

If anyone is interested I found another T500 petcock as per the photos. The supplier says he can't get any them more. If you're interested PM me. It's brand new in an unopened box. It wasn't cheap but I can sell it cheaper than those available lately through eBay. Postage at cost, no charge for double layer packing.
