Thanks Mark, but you had me worried there for a minute! If it is what I think it is, if you look really closely you will see that its the reflection of the Strader 3-1 pipe on my red Kettle which was parked to the right of the picture.

Roy. Is that the fender I sold you ? It cleaned up pretty nice. Did you manage to get the dents out ?

Haha, regrettably it is not. I ended up with three fenders to choose from. This fender came off Rassie's bike.

You did a great job, bud. Those raggy looking washers are taking the look away from those new cylinder studs. Those will clean up. If you don't want to spend the extra cash on them. Polish the flaking chrome and rust off. Of course they'll rust again if they see moisture. But, so be it. It would only take a few minutes to clean them again. If need be. How much total time did you have involved ?

Thanks! I see what you are saying about those washers not looking so great. They are the original sealing washers which I cleaned up and attempted to replate with a Caswells kit. Didn't turn out the way I would have liked. On the Red Kettle I have brand new OEM sealing washers but they are a kind of bronze color so they don't look great either. I'm going to see if I can something from McMaster Carr that would look better.
