As title suggest... Can't see Any screws so their must be a secret way to remove these Badges...( without damaging them ).
Any advise appreciated..
How to remove Petrol tank badges on GT750 ?

The early style badges were held on with pins on the back of the badge that fitted into spring clips (Suzuki called them 'nuts' and they were part number 09148-04005) fitted into a drilled hole. The pins are about quarter way in from either end - to get them off, a thin paint scraper with a flexible blade works well to gently pry the badge pins loose from the nuts.

On the early tanks, and using the original badges - not the reproduction ones - you replace the nuts in the tank (still available from Suzuki under part number 09148-04005) and just press the badge back on. Some double sided auto body trim tape isn't a bad idea either. If using a new reproduction badge, then you will find that the pins usually will not line up with the nuts, so what you normally have to do is cut off one pin, and then use something like auto body double sided trim tape, or some silicon to glue the loose end of the badge in place. The reason the pins won't line up is the badges are copies of originals, and the moulds have not been resized to allow for the metal shrinkage when it sets. This is true for the badges from Badge Replica in Australia, and also for the ones from Reproduction Decals in Canada (now called Diablo Cycle).SW550 wrote:How do you go about putting the tank badges back on?

Found this place Googling how to remove them. Became the owner of a '72 GT750 recently. Tank is toast, but emblems are good.
Anyway, I wonder if you would shed light on how exactly one goes about removing the nuts inside the tank. Long socket extension and a flashlight through the petcock holes?
And a link to the Suzuki web site for the part would be awesome. Having the darndest time finding it.

Well - if you'd read the whole thread I mentioned that these are really just spring clips that Suzuki calls nuts. They are not 'nuts' in any conventional sense.
