Hi,What's going on with the exhaust pipes !! they are very widely spaced from each other ?
Did you notice if the pipes were mounted on the "wrong side" of the frame cushion ?

Looks OK to me. Dunstall seat, GS750E tank, alloy rims, drilled disks and exhaust mounted wrong, but it's red and shiny and looks OK. It's not stock but it isn't pretending to be.

I would not know if the exhausts were on the wrong side, first one I looked at, would rather have a bone stock one

It's not original and if you want a good original one, that may not be the best place to start.

You would need a stock tank (easy to get) and seat (less easy) but available new for around 350 bucks, so maybe it's not such a bad place to start as I thought. Oops. It also needs a stock front fender, but they must be available.

If you buy it and want to swap a good stock tank for that seat, I'd do that. I have tanks but need a cafe racer seat.

Those wheels are an upgrade over stock but if you wanted stock steel rims, I'm sure there are people here that would do that swap in a heartbeat.

Not that it matters here, but how many of you guys have dealt with the NOS seats Suzuki is selling? I bought one early on for my GT550. Compared to the old ones, the new ones suck. Foam has been thinned about 25%. The covers fit loose and sloppy. But the worst part is the finish on the vinyl upholstery. It's so shiny it almost looks like patent leather. Just horrible. I don't know who makes them, but I seriously doubt it's the mother ship. Luckily for me (and now the new owner), I traded it straight across for the chambers on RedZone.
Get a good pan and buy the foam and cover from Rick Brett in the UK. The cost would be about the same, no shiny vinyl and the correct thickness foam AND the patterns are correct for specific years.

I've just bought a cover for the 550K.
I'll post how it takes to the original base and how it stands(?) up to some serious arse.

Teeth marks on it will be avoided as much as possible.

It is the old move around the side of the exhausts trix. Common here in DK back in days to make it look more rough. The front Wheel rim seems to be Akron or something. Could be a desant deal

Not so many unrestored around any more...
