Work that is.
I've retired today even though I'm not really old enough yet, but what's money anyway............
Hopefully that should mean more garage time!
In fact woo and a bit of hoo as well!
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Welcome to the world of Old Retired Farts!

I chucked it in at 62 three years ago and haven't regretted it for one second.

I did it all the wrong way round and now I passed the age at which I should have retired, I am more busy than ever. How did that happen?

Of course it's the usual story, if we have the time we don't have the cash and if we have the cash we don't have the time. :?

Oh man, I'm green with envy. As I get older, I increasingly realise I'm cut out for a life of leisure ...

Well done, I got out two years ago. The graveyard is full of people who "couldn't retire". Remember shrouds don't come with pockets.

I chucked full time work and went self employed in 2009.
best thing I've ever done.
I only work when I have to to keep stock up.
which most of the Time I only work 1 week in a month.
I've not done any work since november.
man of leisure.
you did right Alan chucking it all in.
spend as much time with your lass as you can.
don't mean to be morbid but my late sister and her husband had big plans when he retired.
but it never turned out that way. he started to get Alzheimer's system while still working.
retired and quickly went down hill and passed away and 2 years later my sister died of cancer.
so all their plans never materialise.
so with time you've got make the most of it....
If I wanted to make a life-long career out of
working with the mentally retarded I would
have opened a Harley Davidson Dealership
