When I got my bike the PO said he used to fill it with 1800cc's and the extra would just drain out the "overflow". I've never verified that this "overflow" exists so take it with a grain of salt, but I don't think 100cc's will make much difference.

Exh at platers-divorce pending....

Wives and restorations don't mix. How does one justify a personal relationship with a machine to a non-believer? Thinking of starting up The Divine Church of Christ the Smoker, at least then I could get exempt status, and blame the excesses on divine inspiration, burning trees, or a furtherance of a mission..... :P

For these parts i filed and cleaned any edges on them, then lightly wire brushed the filed sections for good preparation. Along with this i repaired the heads of the S bolts where in the past suspicious tools had damaged them slightly.
They were in as good a condition as possible before listing and bagging them off to Tom, this will make a difference to how they look when the platings finished as you can see by the pics...

Pure truth, every time I try to throttle up my wife, she never respondes so well as all my engines does... mechanical linkages are way more responsive and predictable than human, so called, feeling.

I'm in. My wife never complains about my bike spending, but then again, it comes out of funds that she can't access, anyway. My per-diem and overtime, and any money I make off the bikes, is mine, and she doesn't pay any attention to it. The arrangement works for me.

Mine's more or less like that, too. I've managed to keep my bike habit revenue neutral, and I'm not drunk or chasing tail, so -- all's well!

Well, what started as somewhat in jest has gone downhill. Exhaust pulled from plater with $100 work done. 68 T20 almost completed (nut and bolt) will be up for sale soon, needing just the exhaust finished to be a beautiful example of the breed.

Ouch!

PM me with your price, I may be interested - providing it doesn't end my marriage as well!

(I could also theoretically hide it in my garage for awhile if you need a safehouse)

Good luck!
