I was wondering if anyone had compiled a definitive list - suitable to be made a 'sticky' - of which other brake rotors specifically will fit the GT750 and other GT's as a direct replacement without modification ? To be genuinely useful, the list would include year, make and model. I know this has been touched on at various times, but its scattered all across the board in multiple posts - would be nice to see just a single validated list.
Anyone ?
Ian
If at first you don't succeed, just get a bigger hammer !
I know this style GS rotor fits both GT750 & GT380, should fit all GT bikes probably as a lot of them used the same front hub. I have a set on the Buffalo and I put this one on this '77 380.
There is a larger diameter slotted rotor Suzuki used on some models that had only one front brake but this causes problems as there is not a mirror image one for the other side, if you run 2 the slots are backwards on one side. I think I have one at home, I can post pics tonight.
Ideally, I'd like to see a table with the information arranged something like:
Year____Make___Model____Comments
xxxx____XYZ____ ABC_____exact replacement for T/GTxxx or not quite,
_______________________but here's what you need to know
I'm happy to compile the information if folks want to provide the data, and if someone has such a list already and are willing to share it then even better.

So - the first entry would be:
New___EBC____MD3019LS and MD3019RS_____New style, full floating direct
_________________________________________ replacement

Well - other than Barry (thank you ! )the response has been somewhat less than over whelming. I've been doing a bit more digging and also cross checking of suggestions made previously. Honda CBR600 and 900 rotors have been suggested, as well as GS1150 rotors, plus the single rotor GS models from the early '80's. I've put them into a table, with some notes - comments appreciated.

thanks ian i am/was concidering changeing the rotors out on my buffalo for the gs110es ones .all this info is helpfull.keep it up.
i think the thickness of the rotors is also a factor.
the buff rotors are 7mm stock and i think the GS1100ES ones are 5mm stock.
not a problem if you change the callipers as well .
i see others on the board have got the gs rotors with the buff callipers i wonder if any other calliper mods/spacers were requred.
cheers mark
She will never be pretty but hoping she will be a fun ride.
The GS rotors works fine on a Buffalo but the outer 1/4" of the brake pad is not in contact with the rotor due to the smaller diameter, the thickness is not a problem.
I was going to tell you to ask Barry, but I'm a little late. Barry pointed me in the direction of my rotors, which I believe are from some Katana model. I don't really remember, but they work great!

If you stroke it more than twice; you're playing with it.
Too many bikes, too much time, ENOUGH SPACE, FINALLY! Never enough money.........
